River Hills, NC – Welcome Wagon

How many people do you know that go on vacation and come home with a new home?  I guess it happens more than I realized.  My parents just returned home from a recent trip to Charlotte, NC where they…yep you guessed it, bought a house on the River Hills golf course!!  The funny thing is it’s just down the street from Steph’s parents which would really simplify the holiday travel arrangements.

To our relief, they aren’t leaving town just yet.  The plan is to have it in a rental program for several years and keep it as a possible retirement option.  I did get a little worried however after seeing pictures from their other vacation to Palm Springs.  There too, they had pictures of Open Houses on the market.
